CRITICAL RESPONSE means that you respond to artistic expressions using critical thinking, research, creativity, and collaborative inquiry.2) Inquiry/Research Assignment:
- This is an assignment I would like you to spend one class completing in your Journal.
- At the top of a blank page in your journal, entitle the page, "Critical Response"
- Next look at the picture by the ART TERM today.
- Next, I want to test your ability to ask good questions. All questions start with either "Who", "What", "Why", "Where", "When", and "How". Write a question for each of these that you can ask for the picture by the ART TERM.
- Answer your questions.
- After you have answer your original 6 questions, write three harder questions to answer.
- Now answer these hard three questions.
3) Grid/Charcoal Drawing:
If you get the "Critical Response" assignment done, you may work on your charcoal drawings.
....a) Put away your drawings
....b) Put away any tools you used (pencils, erasers, charcoal, etc)
....c) Put away your folders
....d) Make sure your table is clean
....e) Make sure your chairs are pushed in (there should only be seven chairs at each table)
