1) Art Term: (copy)

MAQUETTE is an architectural term but is also used in art.  In architecture, it is a model of a building to be built.  In art, it is a rough copy to see if your idea for your artwork is going to work.


2) Sketch Book/Journal:

....a) In your journal draw a rectangle.  
....b) Label the rectangle, "Mysteriously Reasonable".  
....c) Spend 10 minutes and create a thumbnail sketch in the rectangle of an artwork called "Mysteriously Reasonable".
....d) Use this TIMER

3) Grid/Charcoal Drawing:

Spend the rest of this period working on your charcoal drawings.


4) Clean-Up:

....a) Put away your drawings into the rack for Grade 9's...remember which slot you put it in!
....b) Put away any drawing tools you used (pencils, erasers, charcoal, etc)
....c) Put away your folders
....d) Make sure your table is clean
....e) Make sure your chairs are pushed in (there should only be seven chairs at each table)
